Blazing Blends - Extra Crispy Chicken Fry Mix

A delicious Southern-style chicken fry mix from Blazing Blends, now with extra crunch!

Ingredients:

Flour [WHEAT (GLUTEN), Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin], Breadcrumbs (WHEAT flour (GLUTEN), Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin)  Salt, Spices (CELERY), Baking Powder (Raising Agent, E450i, E500ii) Flavour Enhancer E621, Acidity Regulator E330i,  Herbs

Cooking Instructions:

1. Dry chicken with kitchen paper, cut into pieces then dip both sides in whisked egg or milk/buttermilk. For Food Safety, we do not advise washing raw chicken due to risk of cross-contamination.
2. Put the Blazing Blends Fry Mix in a container, add the chicken pieces and mix together until all the chicken pieces are evenly coated.

Double-dip if you require an extra crunchy end product!

3. Deep fry the chicken pieces for 15 minutes, turning half way through cooking or oven bake on a lightly greased baking tray at 200C (392F) for 25-30 minutes, turning half way through cooking. Ensure juices run clear and chicken is cooked through prior to serving.

Internal temp for chicken should be minimum 75°C
